October...12-16................ Fall Samboree at Ft. Smith, AR.
Only Three rigs made this one. They were: Ronnie & Sue Mooney, Bob & Sue Whitley and guest Lynda Boaen & Joe Wakefield
from Calera, Oklahoma. Gas Prices, illness, other Schedules to meet took it's tole on The Thundering Sams as well.
The two Sue's and Lynda were still able to do some serious shopping! We ate at several great Resturants, as usual. The
entertainment was very good. There was only 251 rigs present, due to the HIGH cost gasoline/diesel. Lots of prizes were
awarded, dozens of games were played and the Seminars and comercial booths were very good.

bottom of the third, Max Brown made a ringer to make it 1 to 0, Top of the ninth Sue Mooney made a ringer...

freeze. The women brought all sort of 'Goodies'. We also celebrated Ben Ewing and Jimmie Bariteau's Birthday,
their 39th I think. We chose out 2006 Camping Schedule. I think It's going to be a good Year.. As soon as we finalize
